1.7 Double Tracking
Ultimate Rock Guitar now comes with built-in double tracking, giving your guitar parts a fuller, wider sound without the need for external processing. This feature is perfect for creating that classic layered rock tone with minimal effort.
We overhauled the Trill-Keyswitches and added a release functionality! You can now fade back legato to the sustained note.
We also overhauled the Vibrato-Keyswitches and added a release functionality! You can now crossfade back to the sustained note.
And we added three keyswitches (Trill, Vibrato, Slide-Out) within the playing range working via MIDI-Channels.

1.6 Glissandi Performance
Update 1.6 improves the glissandi performance as the Slide-Out-Gliss-Samples are now velocity responsive. The longer you hold a note, the softer a slide-out sample is played, so the transition is more natural.
In response to a customer request, we added a global Legato-OFF-keyswitches. Now you can play arpeggiated chords without worrying about string selection.
Loading VeloMaps issue fixed.

1.5 Keyswitches for Chords
In response to customer requests, we have made the chord keyswitches accessible again, so that you can now select chords and play them with one finger/note. This is interesting for those who just want to noodle around a bit or want to quickly record ideas. This bypasses our Auto-Chord-Detection-Engine, which was developed specifically to make chord keyswitches obsolete. To avoid having 20 more keyswitches in the menu, you can decide which keyswitches should be available at all.

1.4 Minor Improvements
Unlike Update 1.3, this update only comes with minor bug fixes and improvements.
We improved glissandi for chords! Now you can also combine “Glissandi Up & down 1 & 2” with chords as well. Closes the gap and fixes dropouts. And some missing Legato-Chords on the G-string were added to the script.

1.3 Emulated Chords
In addition to minor bug fixes, version 1.3 comes with a significant improvement:
Due to the increasing popularity of the free version we have completely overhauled the emulated chord section. It is now robust against playing unreasonable chords, guarantees release samples and allows silde-out glissandi.

1.2 Emulated Chords
Update 1.2 adds improvements for the emulated chords, chords that are not covered by the huge chord library! You can now customize their velocity layers and most importantly: all sequence samples are bypassed. This has the advantage that you no longer run the risk of triggering short sequence samples, which lead to annoying dropouts.

1.1 Extra Pick Attack
Due to some user requests for more aggression in the attack phase of the samples, we have completely overhauled the existing Extra-Pick-Attack section, re-recorded the samples and restructured and extended the GUI section: You can now adjust the Volume, PreRoll, Hold and Decay of the samples and assign them individually to (sub)articulations.

What else is new?

  • some tricks and special articulations like Rakes, Pick Hits, Random Harmonics, Dives, Tapped Harmonics now got their own individual keyswitches.
